A BIT ABOUT US
In 2019, Beausoleil First Nation, the Towns of Midland and Penetanguishene, and the Townships of Tay and Tiny formed the Culture Alliance in the Heart of Georgian Bay. These communities recognized that culture in our area was not defined by municipal boundaries and elected to work together to celebrate, foster, promote and leverage cultural resources within the Heart of Georgian Bay.
Some of the strategic priorities for the Culture Alliance include support for creative individuals; support for cultural groups and organizations; support for events and activities; promoting the region; supporting heritage; and funding. Review the committee's Terms of Reference here.
